The Field- Free Verse
Here we are,
All on the field.
This is where dreams are made,
But also where dreams can be crushed.
I lay my heart out and hope not to strike out,
I run like the wind.
Hoping not to get tagged out.
I am running from 3rd to home,
I run straight for the catcher not caring if I get hurt.
I slide right under her not knowing if I got tagged,
All of us are waiting on the ump,
Am I safe or am I out.
After what seems like an eternity he finally says,
says,
says,
“She’s safe with the slide at home!”

“Ah-Chew!”- Free-verse
My Aunt Shirley can not have cats,
She sneezes and coughs,
One time I thought she might be dying.
She kept on making these really weird noises.
I guess getting her a cat for her birthday,
was not such a good idea?

Finally it it went away little by little.

You have Lost- Free-verse
Darkness finds you wherever you hide
It will find you in the darkest corner
It will find you under your bed
I will find you, when you cry
the darkness grows It watches in
Pure delight saying to itself
I have won you have lost.

Here to Play- Free-Verse
I play softball I’m not ashamed the dirt in my hair
The pain in my eyes when we lose
The bruises I get from getting hit are my trophies
They show my pride and dedication to the sport I love
I wouldn't trade those bruises for anything.

Tick Tock- Small Moment poem
I have been sitting in the same chair for over 40 mins,
Ten more minutes of this torture
I just wanna stand up,
Stretch my legs.
Move around,
My cramped up body
Can't take sitting much longer
Tick Tock
Its only a few more minutes left
but It feels like the clock is frozen
It feels like I will never be able to get out of this class room
Tick Tock
I am hungry I just want to go to lunch,
Its almost time to get out 3 more minutes
Tick Tock

I count down in my head!
RING!! The bell finally has rung!

I like your pickle poem because it's so funny. The rhyming made everything better and I think you used good words.

I like The Field poem and I like when you use like and compare to something. And also like when you describe the action also.
