There was an old lady,
She had a fat cat.
It ate her favorite hat!
Oh! Drat! She didn't like that!
It climbed on the dryer,
Higher and higher.
It started on fire.
Oh! Drat! It didn't like that!
It hissed and it spit,
Until the old lady got it onlit.
It had no hair, not even one bit!
Oh! Drat! It didn't like that!
It started to grow its hair,
You could almost see it there!
It was no longer bare!
Yeah! Hey! It did like that!
As it aged,
The old cat grayed.
To see its youth go by, the cat was quite pained.
Oh! Drat! It didn't like that!
As it aged,
The old cat grayed.
To see its youth go by, the cat was quite pained.
Oh! Drat! It didn't like that! |

Wingspark
I dreamed
Purple Flying Monkeys
Flew into my bathroom
Making me scream
When I saw them

I dreamed
Many bugs
Flew into my window
And carried me away
with their tiny feet

Haiku Poem

The long river flows
A train for the floating leaves
Washing them to the banks
The wind blows fiercely
Shoving me forcefully backwards
I try to stay up

Leah
Short, brown-haired, and athletic
Daughter of Jeff and Carol
Loves FOOD, Dogs, and friends
Dislikes people who are cruel
Needs fun, excitement, and love
Gives friendship, laughter, and joy
Fears bugs, hatred, and death
Would like to go to faraway places
Dreams of being happy all the time
Best friend is anyone who is kind enough to except me

Fishing
On a hot summer day,
There is nothing better than going out to fish,
Catching the biggest one is your wish,
You hope that huge fish doesn't get away.
When i go out with my father,
We have so much fun.
And when we are finally done,
We argue about whose fish was bigger.

Free Verse
The Best Time
The five minutes before you fall asleep
Are the best moments of the day.
The words of your music
Cease to make sense.
Every worry of you day floats away
Your eyes close
And you drift into a land of dreams
