Being quite
Trying not to scare them away
Someone starts laughing,
Everybody looks at them with a dead look that made them stop
We all think we hear something
We turn around slowly
…
And there, it’s right there
Right in front of all of us
This great
Big Beautiful Buck Bouncing around in the middle of the woods
We all look at each other,
Everybody has a clear shot
But,
Who would be the one to get the shoot
And finally someone shot!
We all turn and see that they missed
The Big Beautiful Buck had gotten away from us.
