Lauren
Lauren is a funny girl
Shinning bright as a pearl
Bringing happiness to my day
Always knowing what to say
She's adventurous and wild
Ever since she was a child
Making a weird face
Randomly without a case
Sometimes a camera hog
Always up for a jog
Even that "fun" run
Which wasn't so fun once it had begun
We got off course, we got so lost
For straying away that was the cost
At the end we were so tired
The ones that weren't we really admired
Just last year we did that
Same with the pie eating contest where she sat
Her face was so covered in pie
I was laughing so hard I thought I might die
Her sister, Julia, was in that contest too
It was something she had thought she should do
They looked at each other and started to giggle
Covered in pie they couldn't help but wiggle
Lauren was in love with Tim
Everytime we were near she's call to him
He wasn't a boy, he was a kitten
One in which she was completely smitten
Lauren has always been that way
Overly excited night or day
Always up for something new
Even something we maybe shouldn't do
I love her, even though she might be mad
She's my cousin I forgot to add
One of the "Shucks" girls that never fail
But I'm afraid that's another tale

Molly
My funny little animal lover
I wouldn't trade her for any other
We make the worst nachos together
It seems like we've been doing it forever
We made crazy potions years ago
With soaps and perfumes we found high and low
And who could forget Chenelle the turkey
Made late at night when we weren't so perky
And then there were the snow forts
Named apple, banana, and names of that sorts
We ran around our hands as guns faking fear
Then falling down laughing when someone was near
We'd jump to trampoline from tree house
And with water guns my uncle we'd douse
Living life as two crazy girls
Since we were in dance doing twirls
At our grandma's crawling through a window
But that's something our parents don't know
Or sliding down the laundry shoot
With Lauren and Julia there to root
The best game ever is extremely ultimate spoon
It ended on Easter all to soon
Me and Molly could aways win
Even if i had to escape Becca's pin
That last part must have sounded odd
You don't want to know so just smile and nod
Molly's my cousin that I love
Sent to me from way above
Yes the hospital second floor
I have to tell you just a little more
She's one of the "Shucks" girls that never fail
But I'm afraid that another tale

The most important thing to me
Is my great expanse of family tree
Those alive and those deceased
I never doubted in the least
That their the ones meant to see
My life unfold begin to be
Something different completely new
A different activity or maybe a few
A twist in life, a fun day
A problem they must convey
Their love to me they always send
Their helpfullness will never end

Grandpa Jack
happy,friendly, welcoming
popcorn loving happening
every project tackling
Grandpa Jack
soaring through the skies
with his parachute he flies
off the ground he'd rise
Grandpa Jack
a happy gardening man
always with a tan
doing everything he can
Grandpa Jack
living on a farm
never doing harm
didn't cause alarm
Grandpa Jack
for his animals he'd care
always being fair
treats were never rare
Grandpa Jack
was happy to teach
fed me my first peach
my hand when I couldn't reach
Grandpa Jack
the bumble bee he'd let let me drive
but I'd rather not leave his side
so he'd come for the ride

Ding Dang Dong
The bells are ringing long
They spooked the horse
Which ran off course
with passengers along
Clickety Clackety Clack
The horse is coming back
No cart at all
It now stands tall
Passengers it does lack
Nickety Nackety Nare
The whole town did stare
A child came up the hill
Using all his will
Carrying a baby bear
Wickety Wackety Wang
Terror like a bang
The mother bear appeared
The child's eyes had fear
But the mother bear just sang
Tickety Tackety Tiled
The mother picked up the child
She said he would be fine
There was no need to whine
The bear was rather mild
Pickety Packety Pell
All has ended well
The child's now home
He knows not to roam
And now stops the bell

Shucks
A true story
It was a cool clear night
the moon was shining oh so bright
Lauren, Molly, and I
snuck outside eyes on the sky
closed the door ever so lightly
making sure it was shut tightly
tiptoed across the dewy grass
AND BROKE OUT THE FORK STASH
started forking my aunt's lawn
96 forks in before dawn
plastic ones we used of course
stuck in the ground without remorse
finely done we headed for the door
it was locked our luck to poor
Shucks
we tried to wake Julia by knocking on the window
she didn't even flinch as far as we know
we didn't know what to do
leaving the house we were beginning to rue
with no place else left to go
we went into the garage rather slow
we went to the truck for somewhere to sleep
we got inside and collapsed in a heap
my aunt would look for us when she awoke
we needed to be awake so we looked for a pop or coke
we looked through the truck and car
it didn't take looking so far
we found a can of Mountain Dew
but numbers of people there were a few
Shucks
the pop we decided to share
still sleep's pull we thought hard to bear
we tried to occupy our minds
by doing trivia and games of all kinds
we decided we would not be able to stay awake
a note for our aunt we decided to make
it explained the whole ordeal
we tried to slip it under the door but the was a seal
the kitchen window we decided to stick it to
we didn't have tape so we used bubble gum goo
we found the already chewed gum in my aunts purse
there wasn't any un-chewed it was a curse
we ventured out to stick on the note
then my heel was gashed and my blood made a moat
Shucks
with much effort the note finally stuck
and me limping we went back to the truck
I made a band-aid out of a Mcdonald's napkin
it was so gross I didn't know where to begin
finally content we went to bed
I was so tired I was practically dead
when I woke up I was alone
and chilled completely to the bone
I got up and wondered inside
my confusion I didn't try to hide
Julia had rescued the others in the night
when she woke up something didn't seem right
to make matters worse Molly was in my bed
I bet you know what I said
Shucks

Then nobody would ever realize how good life was
Just like most people don't realize how good it already is
Nobody would ever experience sorrow
So nobody would be mentally strong
Take time today to appreciate what you have

Great work! You really seem to like writing poetry. My favorite is the What If poem.
