Rainbows
Rainbows make stormy days bright
They also make me very happy
Rainbows are like God's way of
saying sorry after thunder storms.
They are always beautiful to look at.
Rainbows are made of pretty colors.
I Love Rainbows!

Refrain
I Love My Mother!
She laughs and cries with me.
She feeds and clothes me.
I Love My Mother!
There are many days when
I get mad at her, but
I know she will always be there for me.
I Love My Mother!
My Mom loves and cares for me,
and she always makes sure I'm okay.
I Love My Mother!
She needs a break from work, and kids,
but I know she will forever stay.
I Love My Mother!

Alphabet Poem-Animal Alliteration
Angry alligators ate apples
Beautiful butterflies bake brownies
Curious cows capture cats
Dangerous dingoes dig dirt
Evil elephants eat everyone
Furious fish feast on frogs
Grumpy gorillas gobble grapes
Happy hippos hop happily
Irritated Iguanas inhabit igloos
Jumping jaguars juggle
Kind kangaroos go kayaking
Lazy lions lick lollypops
Merry moose make macaroni
Naughty naked mole rats knit
Odd octopus obeys orders
Peppy penguins put on pajamas
Questioning quails quack quietly
Racing rabbits run races
Silly snakes slurp spaghetti
Tigers tickles ticklish tasmanian devils
Unbelievable unicorns use umbrellas
Vicious vultures are victorious.
Wacky Whales want watermelon
X-raying x-rays x-ray on x-ray fish
Yapping yaks eat yams
Zebras are zipping up zippers

Rhyming Poem
My Dog Ruby
My Dog Ruby is as friendly as can be.
Never barks nor bites, she would never hurt a flea.
Ruby is gentle and she is kind,
and only God knows what is on her mind.
When she is feeling good she sometimes plays
but she usually sleeps on normal days.
Ruby is 13 years of age, so in dog years is 91.
She always likes to lay and bask in the hot sun.
Ruby has been my dog since I was a baby.
Hopefully she stays longer, maybe, just maybe?
If she died I would have lost a friend.
I will always love her until the end.
I ♥ Ruby and she loves me,
she is gentle and kind and would never hurt a flea.

Another Rhyming Poem
My Dog Pwee
My Dog Pwee is as hyper as can be.
She runs and runs and will never leave you be.
Pwee loves to fetch and retreive, but
she jumps all over and gets dirt on my sleeve.
Pwee can be very loving and quiet,
but other times she starts a riot.
Pwee has always been a tiny dog,
but she eats all day like a hungry hog.
Pwee likes to trip people and make them fall.
Other times she gives them kisses and acts like a doll.
Pwee gets on my nerves, but I will always love her,
and she will love me, even though she is as
hyper as can be.
♥Pwee♥

Onomatopoeia
Autumn
The leaves crunch under my feet.
The crisp air whistles in my ear.
The rattle of trees shaking.
The crash of helmets smacking during football games.
The rumble of school buses on the 1st day of school.
The shrieks of scared voices on Halloween.
The clanging of forks on Thanksgiving.
Autumn is filled with sounds,
you just have to listen.

Limerick
Lowell
There was a man named Lowell.
Who fell in a giant round hole.
He got a little stuck,
In the yucky ucky muck.
He was so embarassed he would never tell a soul.

Great poems! You have a really good way of expressing your thoughts. You need to show your mom the poem about her!
