Acrostic Poem
Foundation for life

Reliable and honest
Indispensible
Excellent helpers
Never give up on you
Deciphering your thoughts and emotions
Smiling at all you say
Socializing with your friends
Cool teachers help us
Hypotheses of people futures are made
Overlooking people doesn't happen
Opens in the fall
Labratories disecting animals

Haiku
The bright Summer sun
People swimming at the beach
Making memories
Autumn leaves falling
Gentle winds slipping through trees
Whispers from the sky
Snowflakes fluttering
Mr. Winter stings your nose
Frosty drifts pile high
New plants emerging
Flowers growing tall and strong
Spring is a beauty

Purring, eating, chasing
Always loves petting
Graceful

Refrain Poem
Home sweet home!
That is where I live,
it's like my own little dome.
Home sweet home!
The animals all bounding around,
which I have to comb.
Home sweet home!
If you're in trouble,
the people there cushion you like foam.
Home sweet home!
There, my brother keeps me up to date,
using Google Chrome.
Home sweet home!
A place that is comforting,
and in the yard, watches you, a little gnome.
Home sweet home!
If you're under pressure,
that's the place to let your thoughts roam.
Home sweet home!
That's the place where people understand you,
and you definitely won't need a tome.
There's no place like home,
Home sweet home!

Diamante Poem
Monkeys
Smart, agile,
Swinging, screeching, playing,
Have fun mildly teasing others-
Discovering, learning, talking,
Friendly, self conscious,
Humans

Five Senses
Hope
Hope is the color of white.
It sounds like a bond holding tight.
It looks like the saviour of those who have bled.
Hope makes me feel a newborn might.

Autobiography Poem
Mitchell
Friendly, tall, athletic, smart
Sibling of Pete
Who likes family and friends
Who feels happy
Who needs free time
Who gives friendship to others
Who fears angry animals
Who would like to see California again

Limericks
There was a lady who sang all week,
Her singing could be heard from the peak;
The people all whined,
and together they chimed,
"Stop the noise, you silly old freak!"

Free Verse Poem
I often find myself surrounded
by beautiful images.
In a place that is founded
by no man nor women.
Where the tall giants pounded
their brothers in the wind.
The little birds sounded
their calls of peace.
A seedling falls and is rebounded
by thier long arms.
It sits a waits to be grounded
so it can bring new beauty.
But then, a bringer of death hounded
out life in the sacred place.
All were astounded
at the sad fact of life.
Only the dumbfounded
did nothing to stop that sad, sad
fact of life.

Found Poem
No man, no matter how strong,
can break a soul, however weak,
into a shattered life,
which is a terrible mess.
No scholar, with a thousand degrees,
can solve a problem, no matter how small,
into a neat answer,
about a sixth sense.
No animal, who knows every trick,
can speak words, even 'the,'
to make a sentence,
about anything.

Five Senses Poems
Summer is orange.
It tastes like popsicles.
It sounds like kids playing with friends.
It smells like fresh flowers.
It looks like swimming.
It makes me feel happy.
Spring is blue.
It tastes like plums.
It sounds like rain.
It smells like dew.
It looks like fun.
It makes me feel excited.
Winter is white.
It tastes like snow.
It sounds like crunching ice.
It smells like ice cream.
It looks like kids sledding.
It makes me feel happy.
Fall is brown.
It tastes like pumpkins.
It sounds like migrating birds.
It smells like dead leaves.
It looks like falling leaves.
It makes me feel calmed.
