Alphabet Poems

A: Alphabet poems are usually pretty easy for me.

B: But when I get to the letters like q, z, p, w, j, and x.

C: ‘Cause there is a very limited amount of words that start with them and there are even less when you are talking about one topic!

D: Doing these poems can be a challenge because of the topic you choose.

E: Every time I start an ABC poem, I have to list some words that I could use in my poem.

F: Flowers is a topic that almost always crosses my mined.

G: Golfing would be a hard topic for me because I don’t know many of the terms that they use.

H: Having a topic assigned to you is frustrating because than you have so many guidelines that you need to fallow.

I: I find it hard to write about something that is assigned because it is ether too easy because the teacher wants to be broad or it is too hard because some one else is telling you what to do.

J: Just because I like to write ABC poems do not mean that I don’t like other poems.

K: Kind of like just because I like strawberries, it doesn’t mean that I don’t like to eat apples or grapes.

L: Loving to write one poem style over and over again is boring even if it is your favorite poem style.

M: My favorite style is Haiku poems.

N: Not many people like it because it is hard to fallow the specific guidelines.

O: Obviously these kinds of things come easily to me or I wouldn’t like them so much.

P: People don’t like to write ABC poems, I think, because they are afraid that when they get to a hard letter, they will fail at writing the sentence.

Q: Questioning your abilities is one reason that I have problems with things.

R: Removing yourself from a project for a while is one of my many strategies that I have while writing an ABC poem.

S: Staying on track is difficult when you are stuck on one line of your ABC poem.

T: Try out many ideas is a good thing to do, especially on an ABC poem.

U: Using a dictionary is a good way to find words to start a like with.

V: Viewing a thesaurus is a good way to find good starting words.

W: When I get close to the end of the ABC poem, I get really exited and nervous of what others will think of my work.

X: X-tra information is usually a good thing when you are typing an ABC poem.

Y: You should be confident when you are writing about some thing you love.

Z: Zoos are a good topic to write a ABC poem on because you can list the many different animals.

They’re very hard to write.

It is pretty easy for me though.

I enjoy writing them.

Kitty Cats

K: Kitty Cats a so soft!

I: I could pet them all day long!

T: To get them on there good side

T: Try and play with them!

Y: You can give them some treats or even a ball of yarn!

C: Cats have sharp claws so be careful

A: As they try and climb on your back!

T: Truthfully I would rather have baby kittens instead of puppies!

S: So soft!
