The buzzer beater-sports poem
The score was 55-54,
the clock was at 20 seconds,
the opponents made a free throw,
the ball is passed,
again,
and again,
and again,
SWISH
they scored,
we’re down by 2,
5 seconds on the clock,
I get the ball,
I’m at half court,
4,
3,
2,
1,
I throw with all my might,
just as the buzzer goes off,
the ball flies through the air,
everyone is quiet,
watching,
staring at the ball…
Swish,
It hit the net.
R.I.P Mom-abcb
When you left us,
It gave me a fright,
I don’t know what time,
But it was at night.
In case you are wondering,
I am alright
Sometimes I may cry
just go towards the light.

Pizza-concrete poem
only type of crust I like is thin
I like cheese. I think that it’s one
of the best things about pizza,
I think that loads of Toppings
are yummy beyond recognition
Sometimes I order it to go
and other times at home
I want pizza every day
It’s good with lots of
toppings no matter
how many there are
including olives,
mushrooms, and
anchovies.
this food
is my
fav
.
FIRE-aabb poem
It’s caused by a chemical reaction,
I think it’s time to take action.
It’s spreading really fast,
that house is in the past.
That big bridge is full of rust
that support is about to bust
every fire is so bright
all will fall before it’s might
Small moment poem- abcdd poem
I was helping my neighbor sell cookies
we rode around town on our bikes
we went to my friends house
it started to rain, rain cold as ice
If it was hot out it would have been nice
as it fell it turned to hail
pieces slamming into my nails
the pieces hurt it, And then I bleed
5 minutes later the storm had ended
I went to bed and with a start
I heard a noise that sounded like explosions
I got up to see what it was
I immediately regretted it, It was a blunder
I stubbed my toe, and yelled as loud as thunder
My abc adjectives-abc poem

micro
stress-free verse
When ever I have work
I plan what I’m going to do
But when the time comes
I forget and feel bad later
It feels like I get blamed for everything bad
When this happens I get mad
Sometimes maybe even sad
But when I do something good
Someone else gets the credit
everyone changes-free verse
People expect me to be immature
as I was a year or 2 ago
Or maybe even be dumb because the way I act
But I have changed and so have you
no matter how it happens
it happens to you
When it happens you may be asleep
you could get zits or pimples
you could get a cut or scar scar
You could realize why people hate
Or why people like you
You could be more mature
You could even develop cancer
But the point is no matter what happens right now
Could completely change tomorrow
or the next day…
or the next day…
or the next day…
or the next.
what a world-free verse
What type of world do we live in
where people get away with countless murders rapes and thefts
What type of world do we live in
where you could walk down a street
and get mugged by a stranger
what type of world do we live in
where people in foreign countries starving
while we’re here wasting
so much of our food each year
what type of world do we live in
where you could be driving in a car
and witness a car theft happen in front of you and do nothing
This doesn’t have to be our world
we can make a difference
what type of world do you want to live in?
Don’t judge-free verse
I listen to different music
I don’t like sports
everyone’s unique with their own tastes
Before you openly judge someone
think how does that person compare to you
do you like or not like them because of what shirt they wear?
It is because they listen to certain music.
Just think what do they think of you
And next time don’t be so quick to judge.

I really like your pizza poem because it's not just pizza and pepperoni repeated over and over and you actually write about why you like pizza. I also really like you poem about your mom. It's touching because you still care so much.

I like the poem you wrote about your mom. I felt like that when my grandpa past away because he meant the world to me and you mom meant the world to you. Parents mean the world to us as they are part of our heart and you have lost a piece of your heart as that is to your life.
