Sonnet-Basketball

Sweat dripping from my face

going at my fastest pace,

get to a complete stop

put up a shot,

the ball sailed through the air

came down like a prayer,

hit the rim didn’t I know where to go

my heart sank to my toe,

went all the way around

I was ready for the rebound,

the ball went right through

everyone was excited I was too,

as the buzzer rang

the ball made a bang.

  Memory Moment- The dream

I was sprinting as fast as I could,

but the beast was right behind.

I was hoping this was all a dream,

but i’m not sure if it is or not.

The beast is getting closer,

I tripped it is the end of me it raised a

sword right as it was about to hit me

I heard a loud ringing noise it scared the

monster and I ran again and the ringing

went on again and I woke up and it was

my alarm clock it was all a dream.

The Dream one has more of a vivid picture and more like suspense. Seeing the monster chase you then to wake up and find out it was all just all a dream, pretty scary.

I beast poem because I can easily relate to many of those type of dreams.
